Phoenix paperback!

Exciting news – the Phoenix paperback is now available for pre-order!  Click here to go to my publisher's page, where the 'Buy Now' button will give you links to all the places you can order it: independent bookshops via Hive, as well as Foyles, Waterstones, Amazon etc.  It features a stunning new cover by Dave McKean:

And a back cover with some of the most amazing reviews I've ever received!  When Jacqueline Wilson says "Phoenix is brilliant – a total page-turner" and Frank Cottrell Boyce describes it as "Big, bold, beautiful. Great to read aloud. A wonder to hold in your hand" – you know you must have done something right!

I prefer the cover of the paperback, looks more galactic. Typography stands out more Good job, might have to read it again.

Thank you so much, Percy! I love the typography on the paperback, too. It's the same font as we used on the Varjak Paw books, so I'm glad you like it as well.

Happy reading, and best wishes,
SF

What is the name of the font please? We are reading this book in our class and are keen to replicate the look in our book corner chalk wall!

Thank you so much! I think the font on the cover of the Phoenix paperback is a special font that Dave McKean customised himself. We used the same one on the Varjak Paw books, and have just used it again on Tyger, but there are slight differences each time.

Please say hello to your class for me, wish them happy reading, and tell them I hope they're enjoying flying through the stars!

With best wishes,
